What's your story?

BEHIND BARS The name of my Catalina 27 is " Behind Bars " It was a name suggested by a former boss of mine. She was this 4'5" New Yorker who used to bartend in places frequented by those close to organized crime. Most of her clients ended up in jail at some point in time. Her 25 years experience as a bartender prompted her to write a book called "Behind Bars", which was about, what else, life as a bartender.Well guess what. She is one of my favorite people on earth and when she was terminated as my boss, I felt the need to dedicate something to her. The name of the boat sure does raise some interesting looks by thosewho don't know me. They think I spent time behind bars. I must be someex-con or something. No. I happen to be a measely BARTENDER. . GAILFORCE My boat is named Gailforce because my wife Gail and I went to a boat show some years ago and saw aboat we really liked . I was a workoholic and insisted I didn't have time for a boat. However my wife Gail was adamant we should buy a one.In fact she forced me to buy the boat. Therefore I named the boat Gail Force .That was 15 years ago , we have had seven Gail Forces since and I am forever greatful to Gail for forcing me to buy the first one! BEST UNDER PRESSURE She's the tender for my dad's 2850 Bayliner, "Escapade". We boat in The 1000 Islands, Ontario, Canada. I couldn't figure out what to call it.I was tossing around names such as: "Air Time", "American Express".American Express wasn't a good idea because we didn't want someone to think we were smuggling booze! . OCEAN FEVER My boat is a De Fever 48 Offshore I called it 'Ocean Fever' as it is a ocean going vessel ( well I take it there often ) my name is Oliver Fleming so the name incorperates the Designer's Name ( Arthur De Fever ) as well as my own initials. - Oliver Fleming ESTA BIEN the name of my CS 27 I believe it is Spanish for " It's O.K.
