Boat Naming Made Simple
THE FILTHY WHORE
My canoe a 17' Easyrider Heron is old and beat and weighs about20 pounds more than when it was new due to added fiberglas patches & repairs. I have used it for the past 5 years to commute to work accross Sinclair inlet. I would like to add thats year round in some pretty nasty stuff. I stole the name from the movie cabin boy.

Bayou Rhythm
came from my origins in South Louisiana, the preference of my family and crew for the calmer type of conditions it could imply, and the condition of mental and spiritual connection with the sea that sailing seems to provide.

NOSICA
We hold in abeyance the name "Nossica", originated by Marian Reif. Nossica was a Nordic goddess of the sea (I can't find the details at this moment), but the name was also chosen because it was close to nausea...

SAMITCH
My parents, Samantha and Mitchell combined each of their first names to name their 27' Starwind Sailboat.

TOFFEL
I have named my boat"Toffel"after my best friend Henrik Karlsson's behaviour. He has become a wimp since he started to date his girlfriend Maria.
