What's your story?
FLOATING-A-LOAN
Gotta pay for 'em somehow & usually i'm out there by myself - (wife gets Seasick)
WHISKERS
It's the name of my Trinka 12. Since I moved (back) to Florida and now telecommute to work, I don't exactly shave every day...
SECOND TIME'S A CHARM
That's the name of our Sea Ray 240BR. It's the 2nd marriage for my wife and I and it's our 2nd Sea Ray. We're both happy as can be with "both" of our "seconds". So, as the name implies, "Second Time's a Charm"....
CREW'S MISSILE
(A play on words) We are a lightweight crew requiring a high performance dinghy. We settled on the new asymmetric RS200 which simply takes off on the reach. It's fast. It's exciting. It's fun.
ME TOO
Two of my boats have similar names. My Snipe is named Me Too, and my Venture 17 is named "Me II". I bought the Snipe to sail in the lakes around Atlanta so I could me back on the water again. Maybe it's not my beloved Chesapeake but at least I can say "me too" when someone in a group says they sail. I have just bought the Venture with the hope of gunkholing around the Gulf Coast and the Keys on vacations and hopefully when some of the larger sailboats say they are going to raft up at a given location I can say, "Me II".
HONDA SUC.K.S.
Because I purchased a brand new 50hp Honda outboard defective lemon from the American Honda Corporation. The name reminds me to never do it again!
