GATO BORRACHO
Name of our Nonsuch 30 (hull #76) meaning "Drunken Cat" in spanish. Reasons:
it is a cat boat and we drink a lot
in a quartering swell it wallows like a drunken cat
we have a cat who likes to drink home made wine
KRISOLAS
Hello John, We have a Chaparral 198C that we use as an all around family boat ... fishing, swimming, whatever :) ... My wife and I have two children named KRIStine and NichOLAS. Therefore the logical name had to be "KRISOLAS" ... :) Besides ... "nicotine"
SALTY C
A charming little 16' C-Dory Cruiser. Mention of its "salty" appearance in Trailer Boat Magazine (March 96) led to the name. Great boat for salmon, halibut and ling cod fishing we (my wife and I) do in the Northern Pacific waters of Alaska. We have been out as far as 20 miles from the Port of Seward Alaska so far and its just an incredably sea worthy boat for its size. A half-ton of fun to be sure. ' Would love to hear from others with C-Dory's. PS: Look for us in Puget Sound next spring.
REEL NAUTI
Nice to meet you. I'm new to the net and you're my first email to anyone. I guess that pretty much explains where my priorities are. I have a boat here in hawaii and i fish off the west coast of oahu. Have three boat names for you. The name is a metaphor for the owner/operators personality on and off the water. He fishes with me regularly (until his boat is done). His mischief is harmless but just the same, his wife is more relaxed when he's out fishing with me. When the weather is bad so is he. The name of the boat actually came from my boat which I passed on to him.
