What's your story?

EZ PAYMENTS EZ Payments mostly jets the waters of the Colorado River in Califormia, Arizona and sometimes Nevada. We bought our 19 ft. Mini Day Daytona Jet 11 yrs ago. Since then we have been enjoying life with our boat and monthly"EZ PAYMENTS" TRINGRIZ. Whilst the print style on the transom is American Uncial (and therefore everyone thinks it is a Gaelic name) it is fact a combination of our two nicknames TRIN and GRIZ. The REBEL II Our 19' Grady White Tarpon is appropriately named THE REBEL II. She had that name when we bought her, but it fits my personality and her own as she has a mind of her own when she aptly rebels against and easily handles bad weather, high seas or rough wakes from the bigger boys. We never asked what had happened to THE REBEL I; don't want to know. The Reb is a well known fixture in the Southern NJ Intracoastal, back bays and ocean. DOC's LAW My Father, a teacher of all sciences for 30 years in Lindenhurst N.Y. (Lived in Amityville) had several"laws of life". The first and most important of these was"you never get something for nothing". He and I were involved in an airplane crash in which he was killed and I critically injured. With the little money from the estate, I bought a 20 foot Renken. I have had many boats in my lifetime but this one was special. Since my Wife would not let me fly anymore I turned back to the waters of Long Island. I thought long and hard about my boats name and thought of the circumstances that brought me to it. Happy to own a boat again and saddened by the chain of events that got me that boat. The law holds true in all facets and walks of life.. .."you never get something for nothing"......Docs first law.
