TRAVELER We accquired our seidelmann 229 in Sr. Leonards Md. approx. 7 yrs. ago. it had been repossesed by a bank and had been drydocked for a couple of years. In short, a mess. However, it was also a bargain. lots of quick fixs, a month on the bay, back to Lex., Ky, more work and to our local lake. Still no name. Deceided to take to Fla. for winter, to Burnt Store Marina in Punta Gorda. Finally after doing this two winters it came to me, the name. R. E. Lee' horse, Lex. a horse town, St Leonards to Lex. , to Fla and Back twice, why not? Not world but a lot for a rejected boat with an inland owner. SEA DEUCE out of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Since the vessel is sailed by just the two of us and since we have been"seduced"by the lure of wind and sea for the longest time, the name seemed entirely appropriate. By the way, our dinghy's name is, of course,"Wee-deuce."Smooth sailing to all! L'EAU LIFE that's what I've named my Rinker Fiesta Vee 280 that's currently being shipped from the US to the UAE.
