What's your story?

NAUTICAL WHEELER My last name is Wheeler, and I'm a big Buffett fan, so the song Nautical Wheelers came to be popular. Then the nickname came to be Nautical. So, the boat became, Nautical Wheeler DUNE My Dutch fiance and I hope to own a 32 foot sailboat someday and her name will be DUNE. Dune is the name of the Christian Dior perfume which was the first gift Erik-Jan gave to me, and dunes represent the shifting sands of time and life, that nothing is ever constant. SAUNA The small red building on a bark is our sauna, the finnish steam room, you know. The bark actually is an old russian gunboat with fast running steam engine, but unfortunately the engine has got lost during the years. JUNO is, as far as I know some ancient god from Rome or Greek. I think it is a god of love or something like that. Juno was originally built to tug sail ships from sea to Helsinki harbour and then it was moved to lake Paijanne, where it used to tug lografts. SUOMI (Finland in finnish) is a passengerboat which still operates the original route from Lahti to Jyvaskyla with original engine from about 1905. METSA means "forest" in finnish and it comes from the previous owner, the Iisveden Metsa Oy (Iisvesi Sawmills ltd.). © 1993-2017 Marine Graphics, Inc.
