What's your story?
BREEZE COURIER
I am currently a Coast Guard officer, but learned the rewards of hard work at an early age at my first job as a paper boy. The newspaper I worked for in my home town of Taylorville, IL was "Breeze Courier"; had nothing to do with the wind though! I thought it would be befitting, though, for my 25' Seaward Sailboat which I now sail in Corpus Christi, TX.
CUBA LIBRE
I have had many boats and have named them all Cuba Libre for I am cuban and fought against Castro back when I was 18 years old.
POLICY MAKER
A 21' CrownLine 210. I told my wife I was going to name my boat after her and she said " don't you dare use my name!!" She is an insurance agent (and also her role at home) Therefore: Policy Maker.
SUNNY AFTERNOON
The name for our 25' Catalina sloop was taken from the Jimmy Buffett re-make of the Kinks song. "..tax man takin all my dough...can't even sail my yacht...lazin' on a sunny afternoon..." Fits our "lazy" sailing lifestyle. Our first boat was a 22' sloop named "Little Wing" from the Jimi Hendrix/Stevie Ray song.
