TEACHERS PET My wife (a teacher ) and I currently own a 1988 Thundercraft 290. She fell in love with it as soon asa she layed eyes on her. DOUBLE EAGLE My partner and I are both veterans of the U.S. services. He from the Navy and I from the Army..We fish Lake Ontario, N.Y. We picked"Double Eagle"for our boat name. I also worked on the New York Bald Eagle recovery team. So Eagles were very important to both of us. ACE HI WELL My 50 foot luhrs was won in a poker match."ACE HI" EROTICA A fitting name after our previous yachts: Wet Dream & Aphrodisiac. Erotica is a lovely Catalina 36 out of Marina del Rey and a charter member of Fleet #1. KNOT A CLEW I named my Lightning, Knot A Clew, as I'm relatively new to one design dinghy sailing and I saw it rather true to form. I haven't a clue as what to do, but I'm a quick learner, the name will stay however. It's rather nautical with a sailing flair... FAST TANGO The name was derived from a powerboat I onceowned called Last Tango, which name involved anold girlfriend. I didn't want to use the word"last"in aracing sailboat name (bad karma, I thought), hence,after not finding any other name to my liking, Idecided upon Fast Tango © 1993-2017 Marine Graphics, Inc.
