HI HOPES
While fishing for salmon one day and still not knowing what to call my boat and the fishing was pretty slow, my friend who sings tenor and is always coming up with strange songs, started singing (to wake up the salmon) I've got High Hopes, High apple pie Hopes with no fish in sight hopes. since then my boat has been named Hi Hopes.
DAGO RED
A 20' Wellcraft bright red Eclipse, owned by a wine-loving Italian, who owns a restaurant (Italian, of course!) outside Phila.
SOUTHERN COMFORT
She's a fine lady and the second with the name. The first was a 31' Silverton that was taken away by Hurrucane Hugo in 1989. On her we enjoyed taking friends, relatives and visitors to our city cruising in the harbor to see just why Charleston is called "The Holy City." The current "Southern Comfort" is a 34' Mainship, well equipped to carry on the name
