ISLAND SEA AIR US
The name of our boat is a bit of a "play on words". The model of our boat is a Ciera. We tried to tie in all the things that we enjoy. Therefore, Island (meaning Catalina), the sea, the air and us! I think it's a name that will best be read, than heard. Thanks for asking.
SEAWEED LADY
She's a Macwester Rowan-Crown 24' sailing sloop built in the UK in about 1980. We bought her second hand and at the timne she was called 'Seaward Lady'. My daughter (5 years old) loved her at first sight and, as someone new to reading, stated that we really should buy 'Seaweed Lady'immediately. We'd fallen in love with her too and so the purchase went ahead - the name 'Seaward Lady' remained unchanged - well it's bad luck to change a boat's name isn't it. But within the family she'll always be known as ' Seaweed Lady '. picture available if you want it - let me know!
JUST A LITTLE DINGHY
My first boat is a JY9. Most people I know agree that it's not just a boat name but a description of its owner. I've been thinking about calling my next boat "More Than Just a Little Dinghy." But, then again, maybe not. My next boat may be a Beneteau 235.
WIND WHISPER
I'm thinking about naming my next boat Wind Whisper. I like the name because I like the whisper of a quiet wind across the sails.
SEAS THE DAY
reflects my attitude toward life! You must live each day to the fullest...you never know what tomorrow may bring. I always wanted a boat, but kept putting it off. I finally bought one now because I wanted to Seas The Day!
