DOWNTIME
My husband and I both work in computers. Although the name was meant to refer to *our* downtime, the first time we took the boat out I fell off and fried my beeper. Meant a little extra downtime for some computers at work too...
SMALL FAYEVORS
My mother used to say "Thank God for small favors." My wife is Faye
SKIVETTE
We bought a 1997 Master Craft Maristar 200V with the LT1 Corvette Engine. This is a V-drive ski boat that is used exclusively for skiing usually on the Green River in Kentucky and the Ohio River and Patoka Lake in Indiana. We discussed many possibilities for the name and this one seemed the best since: it was one word, we couldn't find any other use of it, and it combines the use of the craft and the power source in one name.
LONGEST THREAD
Ever since I put in my papers I've been trying to get my wife to let me rename our boat after a Cal licence plate I saw a couple of years ago......wasafuzz.
PAIR-O-MEDICS
John, our 20' Sportcraft cuddy had no name when we purchased used last year. My wife and I thought of many names and tried to incorporate our professions into the name. I've spend most of my life in health care, first as a x-ray tech, an ambulance attendant and as a registered nurse. I'm presently a flight paramedic with a private firm. My wife has also been with the ambulance service and is now a R.N. So as there is only the two of us on board most times we decided on " PAIR-O-MEDICS "
