ALLURING WIND Alluring Wind is a Catalina 22 swing keel. The name says it all. The boat and the wind are always tempting or alluring me to check out new places to sail and gunkhole as only a trailer sailor can. TOY NUMBER II They say that the child stays in all of us, so my wife and I decided that our 23' Monterey Montura sport boat would be our second toy. My 1985 Honda Goldwing carries the license plate TOY NO.1. And to complete the package, the truck and boat trailer license plates are TOY2 HLR and TOY2 TLR, respectively. By the way John, I enjoyed browsing through your web page and seeing the very creative names other people have come up with for their boats. Thanks for the fun. JIGSAW A 1971 Santana 21' Sloop that I purchased as a hull on a trailer, mast and about 10 boxes of rigging and parts. I had never seen this boat rigged and all of the deck rigging had been stripped, so I put it together like a puzzle, kind of feeling my way along. Turned out to be an excellent sailing boat that I really enjoyed and then sold to my brother-in-law when I moved up to a bigger boat. PRIVATE DANCER My boat is a Sea Ray Sundancer, and I'm a Tina Turner fan, so may wife and I named it " PRIVATE DANCER ". My mother thought it was cool name until she found out what private dancers did for a living! SEA PROGRAMMER I work for AT&T Bell Labs and program switching software in the language 'C'.
