With the addition of a soft drop shadow that blends into the hull color.
Here I enhance your favorite princess graphic with a small dropped shadow for contrast. I think I’d use something like that in each of the examples below for that reason. This would look good printed and also as just a nice metallic overlay on the black background.
Below you’ll find my first drafts and suggested corresponding hull previews. I don’t mind going over seams, in fact usually, graphics fit better without using these as constraints.
These installations are a little more trick, but not enough to shy away from getting the best fit.
