Our boat’s name is “Geronimo”. It is our first boat. Part of the reason for the name is that it was our “first jump” into sailing, so what do you say when you take the big jump? Yell, Geronimooooo !
Also, leading up to the boat purchase was watching the movie “Wind” a couple of dozen times. If you watch the movie closely you’ll see a figure similar to our logo (theirs had a club, ours has a spear). It was all good fun back then trying to decide on a name for the boat.
Renaming the used boat we purchased to “Geronimo” was easy considering that the name of the boat had been “For Sail”.
