People always ask us what the name means – it is a pirate term for mischief and mayhem, or to be up to no good! We chose the name because when my husband and I bought the boat, I was teaching Anatomy and Physiology and I thought the reference to the skull was very fitting. I’ve never seen it on any other boat!


  1. On seeing Schullduggery on its mooring while going in and out of Malahide, I had always assumed that she had originated in Schull. I see she is mow berthed in the marina, close to my own boat, Spirit of Glenans.
