2nd Circus boat lettering

Often we get ideas from customers who have their boat lettering drafted in detail by another designer, but lacking a certain savoir-faire. This provided design was set up as different color vinyl plots of solid colors which would be labor intensive to both produce and install. We were hired to improved these concepts and came up with a boat wrap design that is simply more interesting as evidenced in the below “before and after” comparison. We’re not just improving the aesthetic appeal, but also addressing practical concerns such as labor and installation efficiency…and paint protection.

Below, you will find several iterations of this concept in reverse order, culminating with the customer’s original idea at the bottom of the page. At iteration #4 we settled on the black beveled letterface with a gold outline and soft shadow.
