Subtle – Just covering the old stripe with silver print of flag. If the old stripe isn’t in too bad of shape you could over lay this and use knifeless tape to create the shape.
Of all these flag layouts, I like this shape on the stripe best and would mirror that for the starboard side. The “red” stripe flows toward the back evenly an swoops up in the stern. The field of stars is angled back giving the image a speedier line. The red is just for fun, but the flag wrap image can be printed on anything, including the silvers. Anything printed will be laminated for UV protection and is quite glossy.
This concept involves printing a gray scale image on a silver metallic wrap then laminating that for protection. In this full boat wrap, the stripes of the American flag flow from bow to stern and just a hint of the stars on the leading edge. We have had great results from printing on white reflective as well. The whites would be subdued during the day with blacks printed to dull them down, but would light up brightly at night like reflectors. Imagine these are overlaid on top of the silver print.
A different flag, different furl and shapes. I will mail a sample of this concept for your approval if you like this idea for a full boat wrap. In the brightest areas we would see metallic silver instead of white. A hint of ink is printed to give the flag some volume.
